Adam Mootz

Owner

Adam Mootz is deeply rooted in the local community, living right here in Winneconne with his wife, Emily, and their four children. Originally from Necedah, WI, Adam has always loved the tight-knit feel of small-town Wisconsin.

After practicing in the Oshkosh area for seven years, Adam followed his passion for community-centered healthcare and opened his chiropractic clinic, Winnebago Wellness, right here in Winneconne in 2022. Partnering with Alpha Fitness is the realization of a long-held dream: creating a premier "clinic/gym hybrid" dedicated to promoting an active, healthy, and vibrant lifestyle for local residents.

Adam brings a unique, highly specialized skill set to the team. Before becoming a chiropractor, he worked as a personal trainer and earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential. This powerful combination of sports medicine and advanced fitness training allows him to help members safely maximize their physical potential.

For Adam, the most rewarding part of coaching is watching the transformation that happens when someone commits to their health.

"I love to see the confidence that grows in people as they progress in their health and fitness journey," Adam says. "Finding your inner ‘Alpha’ is what we like to call it!"

When he isn’t at the clinic or gym, Adam loves spending time with his family, boating, coaching youth sports, and enjoying the great outdoors. And while he is a proud Wisconsin sports fan through and through, he has one major exception: he is a die-hard Minnesota Vikings fan. SKOL!

Adam’s advice for anyone embarking on a wellness journey is simple: "Plan your work and work your plan." "It is very easy to get overwhelmed by all the different tips, tricks, and information out there, which can leave you feeling paralyzed," Adam explains. "My advice is to concentrate on just a couple of things at a time. Make a plan on how you are going to stick to them, and build a lasting habit. As Aristotle put it: ‘We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act, but a habit.’"
