Kelly Blakesley

Instructor

Kelly Blakesley is a true lifelong local, having grown up in Butte des Morts and now living right here in Winneconne with her husband, three boys, and their two dogs. Having spent her entire life in the Fox Valley, Kelly feels incredibly blessed to raise her family in the same supportive community she has always called home.

Kelly brings an exceptional academic and hands-on background to the team, holding two degrees: a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Right out of college, she put her exercise physiology background to work, spending five successful years as a personal trainer at a private fitness facility.

To prioritize raising her young children, Kelly shifted gears for a time to run a successful in-home childcare business. Now that her boys are older, she is thrilled to return to her true professional roots in the fitness industry.

"Holistic wellness, nutrition, and fitness have always been my deepest passions," Kelly says. "I am super excited to return to the training floor and help our community thrive."

Outside of Alpha Fitness, Kelly is a dedicated soccer mom, an avid runner, and a passionate home cook who genuinely loves experimenting with new recipes (she even enjoys the grocery shopping!).

As a lifelong advocate for using "food as medicine," she values clean nutrition, though she happily admits her biggest daily weakness is high-quality dark chocolate. When she’s winding down, you’ll likely find her reading or watching her favorite films, which range from Top Gun: Maverick to year-round Hallmark Christmas movies.

A fun fact about Kelly? Her childhood dream was to be an oceanographer working with dolphins, a bit of a logistical challenge when you are determined never to leave beautiful Wisconsin! She also brings an incredible work ethic to everything she does, having proudly worked at the same local restaurant for over 30 years.

Kelly’s coaching style centers on sustainability, mindset, and long-term habits.

"My advice is consistency over perfection. Make time for yourself and realize that progress doesn’t happen overnight—give yourself grace! A true lifestyle change is not a destination, it’s a journey. Learn from it and enjoy each day."
